Elemental Waffe (
Overview[]
According to Kamito Kazehaya, the Elemental Waffe are the second purified form that Spirits are able to assume under their contracted Elementalist, which can be broken into two different groups. First, being the spirit appearing as a lump of massless divine power with an interdetermined form, this method is purely summoning the spirit's power as an additional source of power when Spirit Magic is being used.
An Elemental Waffe, which is the pure form that summons a part of the spirit's existence as a highly optimized form for actual combat. However, this requires a tremendous amount of divine power, and on top of that, it is difficult to control. As such, those who're able to use the second purified form of spirits are classified as the elites among Elementalists.[1]
However, in certain situations where Elemtnalists fights inside of Astral Zero, it causes mental damage instead of physical damage due to their bodies being of the same composition as spirits,[2] however, if the Elemental Waffe is materialized in its full state, then it is possible to damage and even kill their opponent, which is the reason that it is forbidden to kill opponents during the Blade Dance Festival.[3]
Second Release[]
Depdending on the contract spirit, the Elementalist is able to access the second form of their Elemental Waffe, which allows them to perform more powerufl attacks and release their spirit's power for a limited amount of time, however, it can put the spirit in a berserk state.[4]
Waffen Merge[]
Waffe Merge (
There are three different conditions that needs to be met:
- The Spirits must be equal in power.
- The Elementalist must has massive divine power capable of controlling it.
- And finally, the perfect union of their souls.
If these three conditions aren't met, then both spirits will end up being eliminated, which is the reason that the Elemental Lords have kept this technique secret.
